We are local woodworkers, craftsmen if you will, specializing in custom, made-to-order, plantation shutters. Texas-Shutters was established by Robert Brooks over 25 years ago when his daughter-in-law asked him if he could build some plantation shutters for the windows of her new home. Over the years, Robert has developed and improved the design and construction methods we have used for building plantation shutters, keeping them simple, aesthetically pleasing, and producing a product that will last for years to come. We take pride in our work product and the fact that we live, work, and produce a quality product in San Angelo, Texas. Our shutters are manufactured from start to finish on-site in San Angelo.
Although the majority of our customers are in the Concho Valley area, We have produced shutters for customers as far away as Brownwood, Garden City, Winters, Sonora, Menard, Veribest, Eden, Eldorado, and many points in between. Having earned a reputation for producing quality work in a timely manner, we do very little advertising and most of the projects we take on are by referral, friends referring their friends to us. We enjoy doing what we do and we, especially, enjoy the feeling of accomplishment we have when we deliver and install an order of custom-built shutters to another happily satisfied customer.
